The Bayelsan State Commissioner for Information, Esueme Dan- Kikili confimed to Nigerian television that Former Bayelsan governor,m Diepreye Alamieyesigha is dead.
He was reported to have died of Cardiac arrest after slipping into coma for two days but never made it back.
Alamieyesigha who was born in 1952 was reported to face money laundering charges at a London court but jumped bail and returned to Nigeria where he was pardoned by the regime of Goodluck Jonathan but there were reports that the British government plans to resurrect the case by seeking his extradition to London.
